Refund, Payment and Chargeback Policy

Effective October 3, 2026

1. Agreement

This Refund, Payment and Chargeback Policy (“Policy”) is part of the agreement between Go High Level Designs (“we,” “us”) and the client named below (“you”). It applies to every project, purchase and invoice.

You accept this Policy when you do any one of the following:

  • sign it, on paper or electronically;
  • check the acceptance box at checkout; or
  • pay any invoice or deposit.

We keep a record of your acceptance, including the date, time, name, email address and IP address used. You agree that we may share this record, this Policy and our project communications with your card issuer or bank if a payment is disputed.

2. Fees and payment

Initiation fee. Every project and purchase includes a non-refundable $150 initiation fee. It covers one hour of setup time: intake, account access, and project planning. The fee is earned when we begin work and is deducted from any refund, without exception.

Payment methods. Payment in full may be made by credit card, debit card, ACH or electronic check. Payments under a written payment plan must be made by ACH transfer, bank wire or electronic check.

Payment schedule. 100% of the project price is due before work begins. We do not start a project until payment in full has cleared. We may agree to a payment plan case by case. A payment plan is valid only if we confirm it in writing, with the amount and due date of each payment. If you miss a payment under a plan, the full remaining balance is due immediately and we may pause work.

Release of work. We do not launch the site, deliver final files, or transfer any domain, hosting or admin access until every payment due has cleared, including all payments under a payment plan. A payment has cleared when the funds are settled in our account and are no longer reversible as a pending transaction.

Late payment. Invoices unpaid after 10 days accrue a late fee of 1.5% per month, or the highest rate the law allows if that is lower. We may pause work on any account with a past-due balance.

3. Refund eligibility

Stage of the projectRefund available
Before we send the project for your reviewAmount paid, less the $150 initiation fee and less third-party costs
After we send the project for your reviewNone
After launch or handoverNone
Abandoned project (Section 3.2)None
Site access not provided (Section 3.3)None

Once the project is sent for review, the design and development work has been performed. Our services are custom, cannot be returned or resold, and are non-refundable from that point.

3.1 Revisions

Your package includes the number of revision rounds listed on our pricing table at the time of purchase. Revisions are the remedy for work that does not match what you asked for. Tell us in writing what needs to change and we will fix it within your included rounds. Dissatisfaction with a design is handled through revisions, not refunds.

3.2 Abandoned projects

If you do not respond to our emails or messages for 30 consecutive days after the project begins, the project is abandoned. We send one written notice to the email on file before closing it. Abandoned projects are not refundable, and all amounts paid are earned. Restarting an abandoned project requires a new $150 initiation fee.

3.3 Site access

You are responsible for creating and keeping your GoHighLevel account. If you do not give us valid login credentials or administrative access within 14 days of purchase, we cannot perform the work and no refund is available.

4. Delivery and acceptance

The project is delivered when we email you a link to the completed work for review. Delivery of a digital service is complete at that point. No physical goods are shipped.

The project is accepted when the first of these happens:

  1. you approve it in writing, including by email or text;
  2. the site is launched or made live at your request;
  3. you use your final included revision round; or
  4. 7 days pass after delivery without a written revision request from you.

After acceptance, the services are complete and performed as described. Further changes are billed at our hourly rate of $150.

5. Disputes and chargebacks

5.1 Contact us first

Before you dispute a charge with your card issuer or bank, you agree to email [email protected] and describe the problem. You agree to give us 10 business days to resolve it. Most billing problems are fixed within that time.

5.2 What counts as an improper chargeback

An improper chargeback is a payment dispute, reversal or chargeback that you file:

  • without first completing the step in Section 5.1;
  • for services that were delivered or accepted under Section 4; or
  • for an amount that is non-refundable under this Policy.

A dispute over a charge you did not authorize, such as a stolen card, is not an improper chargeback.

5.3 Chargeback fee

If you file an improper chargeback, you agree to pay us a $500 chargeback administration fee for each disputed transaction. This fee is in addition to the disputed amount, which remains due.

You and we agree that the $500 fee is a reasonable estimate of our costs, not a penalty. Those costs include processor dispute fees, staff time to assemble and submit evidence, and the higher processing rates and account risk that chargebacks cause. The actual amount is difficult to calculate in advance.

5.4 Collection costs

You agree to pay our reasonable costs of collecting any amount owed under this Policy. These include collection agency fees, court costs and reasonable attorneys’ fees, to the extent the law allows.

5.5 Suspension of the site and license

Your right to use the custom design, code and content we create is granted only when the project is paid in full. If any payment is reversed or charged back, that right is suspended until the disputed amount and the chargeback fee are paid. During a suspension we may take the site offline, remove our design and code from your platform account, and stop all work and support.

5.6 Evidence

If you dispute a charge, we will send your card issuer this Policy, your acceptance record, the delivery email, your approvals and revision requests, and logs showing your use of the site.

6. Third-party services

Your GoHighLevel subscription, domains, hosting, stock images, plugins and any other third-party product are separate from our services. We do not control them and cannot refund them. Problems with a third-party platform, including outages, feature changes or account closures, are not grounds for a refund of our fees.

7. Site transfers

We build your site inside your GoHighLevel account.

  • If you cancel your GoHighLevel subscription, the platform deletes your pages and the data on them. We cannot recover them.
  • You may copy your own content to another platform. You must do this before you cancel the subscription.
  • We can rebuild your custom design on another platform. This is new work, billed at $150 per hour.
  • Cancelling your platform subscription does not entitle you to a refund of our fees.

8. How to request a refund

  2. We review the request against this Policy, the work completed and our project communications.
